plans for shoot
for this shoot, i am going to focus on capturing sunsets. these are one of the most beautiful and interesting aspects of the sky and can change the mood of a photo. this is a shoot i would like to carry on for a number of weekends. every sunset is different which is one of the things i would like to show during this project.
when editing these photos, i would like to experiment with colour and black and white to see which works best. some challenges i might face are the weather conditions and finding a suitable place where there is a wide view of the sky to take my photos. to have the best chance of capturing a sunset, i am going to leave the house at around 4-5 pm so that i have enough time to find a place to photograph the sky.
for this shoot i am going to use my Nikon D7100 and zoom lens. i am unlikely to use a tripod as i am going to be moving around and finding different locations to take my photos.
